Nope! We welcome anyone who loves to be creative and appreciates our chill vibe.
In general around 10-13 years old but it really depends on the kid: they need to be able to follow instructions and be safe with sharp tools etc.
We aim to keep things flexible and avoid segregating by age too much, as the group dynamics often depend more on personalities, abilities, and support needs.
We've found that younger kids (5+) are not a great fit for us, as our activities tend to involve sharp tools (example: sewing, cooking, woodworking) and this age group often doesn't have the attention span for the kinds of projects that we do.
There also seems to be many programs out there for younger kids but not as many for teens and adults, especially those transitioning to young adulthood. This is the demographic that we tend to vibe with the best, and feel strongly about supporting.
We don't advertise our exact address for several reasons:
We are not a typical public-facing business. Our programs are run from our family home, with certain spaces dedicated to CDFC. Our family lives upstairs.
Our neurodivergent brains like to be prepared and know when people are coming. It's very stressful for us to have people show up unexpectedly, so all of our sessions & visits are by appointment only.
We work with many marginalized folks and their safety is a huge priority for us.
Our ideal method of payment is eTransfer, cheque or cash (to save on banking fees) but we also accept credit/debit or can invoice directly to any funding options you might have.
Yes! We can bill directly to Autism Funding Unit once an RTP (request to pay) form has been submitted and approved for your family.

Yes! We are currently setup as a service provider with Self Design, and willing to work with any other programs or funding sources you might have.

Short answer: No, we believe that ABA is abusive and cannot in good conscience support it.
We encourage you to listen to the voices of autistic adults and believe them. Here is a great source of info and articles if you're open to learning more:
